This was a period of wearing lots of suits and flying in lots of airplanes. When the kids arrived, Becky shifted careers and Mike switched to wearing denim, now living in California.

The Berlin Wall (1989)

In earlier days, Mike and Becky would ski the Alps on Sunday, get home around 1AM the next morning in time for their 5AM 3-mile run, and then off to work by 8AM.
Mike continued for two more years in the Army.
Becky's first job out of the Army was screening applicants for a temporary staffing agency.

Regular Army (1977-1992)

Schweinfurt, Germany
Mike was a Field Artillery Officer, with prior service in Military Intelligence and Infantry.
Becky was a Transportation Officer, with prior service in the Adjutant General Corps (Personnel) and the Medical Corps.

UCLA Graduates (1981-1986)

It took Mike and Becky 5 years and lots of Mojos and Chorizo Pizzas before finally graduating in 1986. They were married 2 years later in Berlin, Germany.
